The Local 422 (422 Summit Apartments) is certified Gold under the LEED^® for Homes Mid-Rise rating system. The project incorporates a range of energy and water-efficient systems like efficient LED lighting in almost all common spaces, ENERGY STAR appliances, low-flow plumbing fixtures and, condensing domestic hot water heaters. The project seeks to promote sustainability through energy efficiency, increased urban density, alternative transportation options (walk score of 95) and, by allocating 20% of the available units as affordable, workforce housing.
