The goals of the Green Lake Community Boathouse redevelopment are to provide a safe place, address increasing demand, allow greater access, and embrace the community. The project will replace the existing boathouse building, construct a new pier, and improve landscape design and access across the whole site, which also features an existing shell house and aqua theater. O’Brien360 is managing the LEED certification process, which is targeting LEEDv4 Gold. The project features ultra-high efficiency heat pumps, natural drainage features, and a replacement sewer pump to protect the lake.
