This LEED Silver® certified Community Center provides an integral piece of communal support to Kingston residents


Built on an old Navy housing site that was transferred to Kitsap County, Kingston Village Green comprises a new community gathering space, a branch of the public library, a senior center, and the local chapter of the Boys & Girls Club. The 23,000 square foot, single-level facility community center, provides an integral piece of communal support to the city’s residents. It features large windows looking onto the adjacent park to optimize daylight and received LEED Silver certification in 2018.

O’Brien360 performed LEED® project management for the project during the design phase, including navigating how a complicated network of partners could work together to meet LEED requirements.

After the project opened, a group of community members put together a community program and raised money to add solar panels to the project's roof and help the facility reduce electricity costs.  See a video about the solar installation here:
