  • Green cleaning and purchasing policies
  • LEED Gold certified

O’Brien360 served as LEED project manager for Kitsap Community Resources (KCR) on their newly constructed Larry Eyer Early Learning Center in Bremerton, WA. The 4,400 square-foot Child Development Center features two preschool classrooms, offices for the Director and support staff, and a staff workroom. O’Brien360 guided KCR through the LEED v4.1 Operations + Maintenance (O+M) certification process, enabling the Child Development Center to meet the State’s LEED requirement. Services performed included assisting KCR with data collection, water and energy performance tracking, waste audit support, verification, and technical assistance with system upgrades. Over the course of

the project, KCR was inspired to stretch beyond the state’s requirements of LEED Silver to pursue LEED Gold Certification. In addition to their sustainability accomplishments, KCR, in partnership with O’Brien360, contributed to a Smart Building Center (SBC) Case Study highlighting the use of an Alnor EBT731 Balometer Capture Hood from the SBC Tool Lending Library. The Case Study is expected to provide teams with future insight into the importance of verification, performance tracking, and prioritizing healthy indoor environments. Read the case study here
