O’Brien360 provided support, verification, and rating system certification services, including fundamental commissioning for the M, a 24-story tower in the heart of the U-District and one of the first high-rise towers to be developed in the area in more than 40 years. The 227-unit M offers fully furnished residences, panoramic views of the city, and ready access to shopping and dining on “The Ave” steps away from the University of Washington campus and
light rail. The development also includes publicly accessible green spaces, a rooftop lounge and patio, an exercise room, group and individual study areas for students, 5,575 sq. ft of retail/commercial space, 32 below-grade parking stalls, 63 bike stalls, and an adjacent pocket park. The project completed construction in 2020 and is targeting LEED v4 for Homes Gold certification.
