BACK TO PROJECTS

To fulfill their commitment to human health and the environment, and as a demonstration for their customers, Avista Utilities pursued LEED® for Building Operations and Maintenance

In collaboration with McKinstry, O’Brien360 completed a LEED O+M Discovery Phase Gap Analysis in 2015 and provided full implementation services for a successful LEED O+M Gold certification in 2017.  We facilitated a mindful and integrative approach to help fully verify that prerequisites could be met and to identify a collaborative pathway toward certification. Our work included review and assessment of the prerequisites, client interviews, LEED working sessions, guidance and technical assistance on all plans and policies related to LEED O+M, calculations of all static credits, and tracking for performance-based credits. In addition to achieving LEED Gold certification, the certification process enhanced employee commute trip reduction, improved energy performance, and helped formalize and strengthen Avista’s integrative pest management (IPM) program and green purchasing policies.
