For this project, O’Brien360 assisted the architect and contractor in completing green physical conditions assessment and energy audits, an important component of the HUD RAD Conversion process. O’Brien360 completed on-site surveys, the compilation of utility data, identification and modeling of green (efficiency) measures, and reporting in accordance with HUD program requirements.
The project involved assessment and analysis of '12' different properties, comprised of over 450 units, most of which were individually metered. The tight timeline of completing all audits in 3 weeks required close coordination with the contractor and other team members. Independent of the Conversion, the owner now has a comprehensive assessment of their portfolio and a prioritized list of efficiency measures and anticipated costs.
